Forty years ago today the first episode of ‘Colditz’ was broadcast. To celebrate we are serving a slice of cake with Kilm after a supper of fried corn beef.
UK freeview channel 4 is broadcasting the Colditz documentary; ‘Escape From Colditz’ on Monday 13th August at 21.00. The programme focuses on the gilder escape in which the gilder was reconstructed & experts discussed whether the escape would have been successful.
The programme will then be repeated on fourseven several times during the week, check listings for details. Overseas viewers may be able to watch via Channel 4’s online on demand service.
